Adorable Ava celebrated her first birthday recently, and I was invited along for the party. It's always a pleasure to work with Shauna, Mason, Austin, and Ava - what a fun family!

The Shandruk Family Portraits
I've done several sessions with the Shandruks, and always end up having a great time: the kids (usually) love having their pictures taken, and so we can get a lot of variation in a short period of time.
On this particular day, Riley (the eldest brother) wasn't really feeling too playful, but we all worked to bring him into the fun and before he know it he was flashing that winning smile. Ryan and Mel are great folks too, and one year-old Carter can turn on the charm in an instant.

Mother's Day Family Session
I'm finally launching a blog, so forgive me playing a bit of catch-up.
A few weeks ago, I took my wife, daughter, her sisters, and her mum out for a Mother's Day shoot - it's been years since they all had professional photos done together, and once everyone agrees on their favourites, we'll make some nice prints. It was a tonne of fun to work with these lovely, fun ladies, and I think it comes out in the work. Of course, I ended up taking lots of shots of my daughter, but can you blame me?
